“Last month’s electric bill was $10.53. Thanks to solar, they generally range from $10 to $30.”
—Paul Bremer, Patented Inventor
Energy Need
Paul Bremer took a few initial steps to reduce his overall energy usage before going solar. He switched to energy-efficient light bulbs. And he made sure his home was properly insulated, while his attic was properly ventilated. While all that helped a little, he wanted to be even less dependent on the utility company, knowing that rates are tied to the uncertain price of fossil fuels.
Solar Solution
Paul was not the typical solar energy customer. He wanted certain modifications made to his 5 kW PV system and he didn’t want to pay for someone else’s learning curve. Nor did he want to hire a company that used unproven foreign panels. Paul chose SunWorks Solar because they’ve been around since the 70′s, they have access to quality American-made panels and because they have a track record with custom installations.
Savings
With combined federal, state and local incentives and rebates, Paul says switching to solar was “a no-brainer.” He reduced his electric bill by $130 a month and enjoyed a remarkable savings on his solar installation. As if that wasn’t enough, the energy his system produces is helping to reduce carbon emissions.
“I’m very impressed with the professionalism and the enthusiasm of SunWorks. They were more than willing to accommodate my system modifications and provide the engineering expertise that I required. I highly recommend SunWorks Solar.”
